A B-vitamin cells use to turn food into energy. Riboflavin is vitamin B2, a water-soluble vitamin found in milk, eggs, leafy greens and fortified cereals. Cells use it in the pathways that turn food into usable energy.
The Dose On The Label
Riboflavin (Vitamin B2): 25 mg (1470% DV) per capsule. At 25 mg it is about fifteen times the daily value, which is far more than a normal diet supplies. B vitamins in excess are generally passed in urine.
Good To Know
High-dose riboflavin turns urine bright yellow, which is harmless. Ask first if you take a regular multivitamin, since the total adds up.
